Andrea Robinson, from Vancouver, Canada decided she wanted to see Europe. Dublin was first on her hit list. On her second night she met a handsome Dublin man, Daniel Bell. Their connection was instant and it was clear very early on that no ocean or time-zones were going to keep these two apart. Daniel, a special education assistant in an elementary school, moved to Vancouver in 2014 to be near Andrea, a massage therapist.
During a vacation to Kelowna, Daniel got down on one knee and Andrea accepted. Because Daniel has a big family and the Canadian’s really wanted to visit Ireland, it was decided that the wedding would take place on Irish soil.
On July 25, 2109 Andrea and Daniel said their “I’dos” at Boyne Hill House Estate in front of 85 family and friends.
Syona Photography captured all their wedding pictures and Leone Clarke from Boyne Hill House “was a dream to work with. I already miss our chats,” recalls Andrea.
This married couple said that having a wedding in Ireland was by far the best decision they have made. “The Canadians loved it. Our expectations were exceeded in Ireland and at Boyne Hill House and everyone was so friendly.”
Andrea’s advice for couples planning a wedding from abroad- “Take the time to do your research, really look at websites, social media and look at reviews. Reach out to suppliers that you like early if you can as they book up quickly.”
Andrea and Daniel spent two glorious weeks in Ireland celebrating their wedding. While here they visited the Cliffs of Moher, Galway and Glendalough.
